In middle school, I learned of a temperature called “Absolute Zero.” Apparently, it’s so cold that everything on a molecular level comes to a standstill. In fact, Absolute Zero is so cold that scientists haven’t even reached it yet!
Introducing a concept I invented all on my own: Absolute Dark.
According to most sleep experts, people sleep best in the darkest room possible. Your alarm clock, sunlight, and TV’s produce light that can stimulate your brain and keep you awake. So turn the alarm clock away from you, get some thick light-proof curtains, and turn off that TV so you can get as close to Absolute Dark as possible!
See-through curtains like this won’t work when you fight the light:
And they don’t hide cats that well either 😉
Of course, this blog excludes those of us who are paranoid of the dark (like me!). I don’t mind the light from my alarm clock 🙂
